From the beginners's area to the sledding slopes,through the snow park to the day care centre for children as young as 3 months and the mountain leisure centre starting at 3 years Everything in Corrençon is combined in this new play space to ensure ever more comfort, ease and safety..
And while the children are having fun,parents and grandparents can relax! Some of you will take full advantage of the 260km of alpine and cross country ski-runs accessible from the centre of town.Others will prefer the calm and peacefulness of an easy hike on the vast plateau,located on the edge of the biggest Natural Reserve in France :We guarantee magnificent views!
New in 2010/2011: The babysnow, skiing for the little ones!
Let your child (from 11 months) discover the joys of winter sports. The babysnow is a gliding apparatus like a snowboa  rd with saddle, fixed handlebars and a hole for the guiding instrustor / parent. .
Ski, walk or snowshoe on the snowy areas of Corrençon with all the family.

The Village de Ribambel includes the following:
The beginners park Les Rambins
Alone ,with the family or with an instructor,this immense area is devoted exclusively to beginning adults and children.There are 4 ski lifts and a ski- tow taking you to gentle slopes and short fun filled trails in the forest.It is the ideal place to discover snow sports of all types.

Piou-Piou snow garden for children from 3 to 5 years of age and ski lessons for children ages 5 and up
Supervised by the highly skilled ESF instructors of Corrençon, the youngest beginners are going to take their first runs by playing games inside a large, enclosed and protected space, equipped with a number of carpet and ropes, figurines, and sliding areas collectively called "snow garden." The building is especially developed to accommodate children for their snack time.
For the older kids, group lessons are organized in the beginners area. The first stars begin in this area in order to improve according to the level of the child at the end of the week. For increased comfort and to facilitate the welcoming of all kids, 2nd star lessons are organized either at the start of the village of Ribambel or the beginning of the Clos de la Balme, the gateway to the park.
As a couple, as a family, or just for the kids, you will be able to choose the "private lesson" method if you wish to ski with a private instructor.

La Maison des Enfants
Take a breath! your children are being well cared for!The centre built in HQE wood( high environmental quality) opened it's doors in 2007 and combines the 3 pommes day care centre for children from 3 months to4 years and the leisure club"Les p'tits Montagnards"(the little mountaineers) for children from 3 to 12 years old. It is the meeting place for little mountaineers and vacationning children.
They are supervised by a team of infant care and child entertainment professionals.All this guarantees magical fresh air holidays for every child!

The sledding area and it's "Magic Carpet"
While parents and grandparents take advantage of the hamacs provided,the children take off.!
For the older children...that means leaving from the top!You get up the slope on a moving carpet...what a feeling! The chronometer gives your time...bravo for the records!

Taking a family walk through the enchanted forest of Ribambel
On snowshoes or on foot,set out with the whole family from the heroes' cabin and follow the Secret Trail.Follow the "laughing poles" til you come the "Abri des Clairières"...This is where all the 'gourmands 'meet to savour a delicious chocolate fondue.
Take a pretty forest trail back to the village...don't forget an MP3 player is available at the Office du Tourisme so you can listen to legend of Ribambel and the Little Rock People,on your walk.

Entertainment with Caly and Piou-Piou
Do you know Caly?...He is the children's friend! A huge snowman who danses,skis hands out candy and has lots of surprises in store for the kids....Torch lit down-hill parades,chocolate fondue in the Abri des Clairières...Caly always has a good idea to amuse the children. Easy and safe to get to
the Village de Ribambel is right in the heart of Corrençon;
The shops are just a stone's throw away, your living quarters are certainly within walking distance,the ski lifts of the Big Park,the beginning of the cross country runs.the snowshoe and walking trails.....Here everything is close to everything.
However, because we know that carrying skis and moving about with young children is no easy thing,Corrençon has a shuttle service for it's guests,which links the different activity sites in the village and enables frequent daily trips to the centre of Villard de lans.:
It's easy!A pool with waves,the ice skating rink,the bowling alley and the pedestrian streets are only 5 minutes away. No use taking out the car!
And why not take advantage of th TGV+ Coach service and take part along with all the other Corrençonians in reaching a zero co2 goal?
